I was about to take some time off to travel and the opportunity came up to see Emma right before this trip and it was perfect. She gave me so many tools and insights to work on whilst I was away. So many changes took place in my life shortly after my coaching session, it was hard not to notice! I finished up at my job, moved house and started a new job. Coaching with Emma was insightful, enlightening and thought-provoking. I should have done more sessions!

Coaching helped to clarify what compromises I could and could not make and to identify what’s really important to me so I could make sure I take the time to do something every day that will ‘feed my soul’, like being in nature or looking at the stars. Emma helped me to clarify what’s important to me as an individual and then we discussed and brainstormed how I could include these things in my day to day life. Coaching with Emma gave me clarity of mind.

I was feeling a bit blocked creatively and wanting to move forward with writing projects. By the end of our first session I think I had a clearer perspective on inner beliefs that were holding me back. I also got some clarity around taking control of my time. I felt Emma listened to what I was saying and offered some very insightful feedback throughout the session, especially regarding strengths that I wasn’t recognizing. I’ve noticed how I’m being more realistic with myself and my goal setting in a way that brings more joy and less self-criticism. Coaching was inspiring, motivating and affirming! I was challenged with finding a good balance in my life, always seem to be time poor and taking ‘too much on’. Trying to shift to a less hectic schedule and improved quality time for myself, family and friends. At the end of the session, three main things crystallized: to ask for help when I need it; to be honest with family and friends; and to be compassionate (and kind) to myself. The coaching session was positive, encouraging and comfortable. It allowed me to explore what my priorities are, what’s important to me.

It feels great to get my personal and career objectives feeling more formalised. It’s the worst feeling when they just feel like random thoughts that go into the ether. It was a really useful coaching session – inspiring, motivating and action-focussed.

I was needing help with direction. I was wanting a shift but not sure how to go about it. I felt Emma had a great way of keeping me on track of the things we were discussing (as I tend to get sidetracked) and rounding those subjects off before moving on. I felt she had great leadership. The biggest change I’ve experienced from Coaching is a quiet confidence and a stronger belief in myself. I realise I don’t have to make huge changes all at once and that the old ‘all or nothing’ mentality doesn’t actually serve me. I recognise and give credence to my strengths; whereas I had often dismissed them or taken them for granted. I recognise that they are not the same strengths that others have and that’s my source of power. Coaching has manifested in a better relationship with myself, with my husband, and with me confidently navigating obtaining and starting a new role, amidst a time of personal challenge.

Coaching with Emma was thoughtful, inspiring and encouraging. The way Emma helped me to reframe some of my negative thinking in a more positive way was really great. It made me realise that I wasn’t quite as hopeless as I had previously thought. Through coaching, I’m making the conscious effort to consider how negative thoughts could be positively reframed. I’m also continuing the exercise habits that I built during our time together. And I’m continually improving my work-life balance (which needed serious improvement when we started!).

I was recently made redundant from my position with Virgin Australia after being employed by them for nearly 18 years. I was undecided about the direction in which my life was now heading having recently gone through some difficult times in my personal life and the idea of having to re-enter the job search market after so long was quite daunting. Emma is genuinely lovely; her caring nature makes her easy to talk to about personal issues. Emma really got me thinking about what was important to me. With Emma’s help, I have added some helpful daily practices to my life; we discussed and set some personal goals; and she has helped to shift my focus and build my confidence. It was great to have someone holding you accountable and I achieved many goals in the time we worked together. I am so glad that I made the decision to work with Emma and can’t recommend her services enough. They really are life-changing!
